But I do think you need a better way to manage it.
We're the ones holding it all together—our homes, our families, our own lives.
But there's a catch.
The more capable we become, the more we tend to put on ourselves.
And somewhere along the way, organization starts feeling like just another thing we're supposed to be doing. Just another weight we have to carry.
I don't see it that way.
I see organization as infrastructure. And I see infrastructure as support.
The systems supporting your life are supposed to make your life require less management—not become another thing you're trying to keep up with.
And there's something beautiful about the work of managing a home: it creates opportunities for personal growth while building the systems that give us more room to experience it.
That’s why I developed The Tidy Bird Way.
I don't think you need to have it all.

I'm Marina.
I've always been interested in the way things work.
I love organizing physical spaces and I’m a little obsessed with pens and highlighters. But what really fascinates me is how all the little pieces of a life fit together—and what happens when they don't.
Because I've learned that a system can look perfect on paper … but still make your life harder to live.
The right systems are different. They do more than just give you somewhere to put things. They can help you clarify what work needs to be done. They can remember for you. They can give you mental space between what needs to happen and having to think about it all the time.
Because the point of a system isn’t to make you better at managing your life. It’s to make your life require less management.
That's what I mean by The Tidy Bird Way.
